DCMA Exemptions - Request for Comments
January 25, 2006 by rafiThe US Copyright Office is publicly soliciting comments to help them understand how DCMA interferes with fair use. They are accepting comments through Feb. 2, although they state that they are looking for comments that provide additional facts beyond the ones already accepted.
There may still be an opportunity to have professors, librarians, and administrators write a new comment, or support an existing one. If we hustle, perhaps freeculture.org might even submit a collective comment…
